Summer Update
Hey everyone! This summer has been so incredibly busy for us. The kids and I just got back from 4 days in Western PA. At the end of June, Keith and I spent a week at Clarks Summit University in Clarks Summit, PA with Brynn for the IFCA Youth Convention. She is on our church’s Bible quiz team. The week was awesome and the kids really did a fantastic job! We had never been to this before and were honestly impressed with the heart so many people have for the youth. Then a few weeks later Keith and I helped out with Teen Summer Break at our church. From 6-10PM for five days straight. That was also a great week, but we are still feeling a little sleep deprived….. (but very grateful.)(I really am enjoying these teenage years:-) )
And, on top of all this, the garden is growing. I have written many posts in my mind, but have yet to put them on ‘paper’ for you.
I have lots of summer squash and the tomatoes are coming in!! This is always exciting as nothing compares to tomatoes from the garden.
Soon I hope to get you my recipe for “just about sugar free” ice cream sundaes. Until then, though, here is an amazing way to use us some of those summer squash and tomatoes! (You might have seen this before from last summer.)
Enjoy!!!
