…and then there’s Hot Chocolate!

It is snowing again.  I honestly had no idea it was even going to snow last night until we walked out of the Patriot Center after the Winter Jam way too late last night and saw the snow!

This morning, Mary kept asking to go outside.  Maybe it was because of being out so late and not arriving home until close to 2:30AM, but I kind of forgot that the reason why she kept asking to go outside was to play in the snow…..  So, I bribed her older brother with the promise of hot chocolate when they came in.  He happily obliged:-)

If you have cocoa powder, your preferred sweetener and milk you can easily make your own hot chocolate!  (You do NOT need Carnation or Swiss Miss packets.),   As you can see, Mary just loved her hot chocolate, and your kids will too!  If you make your own, you will never need to buy those packets again.  Also, your kids will not be drinking lots of ingredients that you cannot even pronounce! (You can even find non-GMO marshmallows to go with it!)
