The All Natural (and practically free) Way to Dye Decorative Eggs!
I saw these decorative eggs for the first time years ago, and loved them. It took me MANY years to make them myself. Since then I have made them several times. My favorite part was when I removed the panty hose, revealing the design inside. I have found it to be amazing how an image like a fern or tiny Queen Anne’s Lace leaf can look so clear and beautiful! I have always thought how God is the Master artist and this is definitely evidence of that fact.
What makes these eggs special is that they will last for years. The eggs in the photograph are at least five years old. When they are boiled, they are boiled for a long while, so they are no longer edible. After a while (years), the yolk and white of the egg will dry up and you can even hear it when you gently shake around the egg.
